L&R Construction Limited is a well-established construction company located in Stewiacke, Nova Scotia. Established in 1975 specialized in large concrete project through municipal/government projects. Specializing in sewage and water treatment plants as well as apartment buildings and renovation projects. We are looking for a hardworking, highly motivated individual. Responsibilities: Physical laborer Assembly, preparation and dismantle of concrete forms Mix, pour and spread concrete materials Experience in wood forms Set up and clean-up of site Framing Loading and unloading materials Use of hand tools Set up and tear down of structures (scaffolding) Placement and tying of reinforcing steel Clean up of shop Loading and unloading truck (materials/tools) and transportation Requirements: Respect towards safety Regulations Must have fall arrest/protection, first aid and WHIMIS Personal, reliable transportation CSA safety footwear (steel toe boots), hard hat Ability to do physical labor in all weather conditions Punctual and reliable Able to follow directions Experience with hand tools and machinery and asset Previous labor experience in concrete considered and asset Ability to read blue prints and asset Problem solver/self-thinker Works well with others Why L&R \xe2\x80\x93 Pay rate depending on experience Weekly electronic pay options Monday to Friday work schedule with 7 am start Medical Plan RRSP Contribution plan which L&R contributes for each employee Job Type: Full-time Salary: $15.70-$33.93 per hour Flexible Language Requirement:
