Laebon Homes has an opportunity to join its Construction team as a
Labourer/ Apprentice Carpenter.
The candidate must work well with peers as well as trades and suppliers. Preference will be given to candidates with past residential or commercial construction experience.
Job Summary:
As a Labourer/ Apprentice Carpenter, you will be working with our team throughout Central Alberta on the construction of single-family and multi-family homes.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Includes, but not limited to the following:
General carpentry tasks such as back framing
General construction duties
Turn over prep for possessions
Quality control from start to finish
Help with trade partner inquiries throughout the build
Site cleanup as required
Follow all company safety protocols
Complete safety inspections
Job Qualifications:
1st or 2nd year apprentice in carpentry would be an asset
Residential or commercial construction experience would be an asset
Strong work ethic with a positive "can do" attitude
Knowledge of residential construction and the ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
Work independently and as part of a team on day-to-day tasks and projects.
Detail oriented and goal driven.
Willingness/ability to do physically demanding work
Must have a valid drivers license and own transportation
Will need basic hand tools (hammer, tape measure, drill, saws etc.)
