GENERAL LABOURER

Key Responsibilities:

Perform setup and cleanup tasks at job site Dig pits, trenches and foundations in preparation for job site construction Back-fill trenches and pits when necessary Provide labour support as needed for specialty crew Identify utility lines Direct traffic when necessary to ensure safety of pedestrians, motorists and work crew Comfortable working in high-stress environment with Alberta weather fluctuations Lift heavy loads up to 50 lbs and navigate construction job site terrain Comfortable working in confined spaces or heights Willing to work in moderate to loud noise level Operate a skid steer when required Operate a company truck, hauling small trailers when required Duties include but are not limited to the above. Additional tasks may be assigned as required

Arrives to each shift ready to work with a good attitude, ambition and professionalism Able to work on a team and be a strong communicator Self-motivated/ independent Safety conscious Innovative, adaptable, problem solver Willing to work long hours Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures Valid driver's license minimum Class 5, and a clean abstract CSTS 2020 Resident of Calgary (or surrounding area) Completion of Company safety courses will be required online prior to your start date.

$21.00 - $23.00 hourly
