Job Description

We are currently seeking a Labourer for our Peterbilt dealership in our Saskatoon, SK. The Labourer position is responsible for assisting in the dismantling of construction, forestry and mining based heavy equipment and components.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Cleaning parts and components
  • Cleaning and organizing the yard
  • Some inventory maintenance.
  • Assisting the other shop personnel fulfill their duties and increase overall shop productivity
Required Skills
  • Demonstrate safe and efficient workplace practices
  • Highly motivated, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to carry out and understand verbal and written instructions
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Required Experience
  • Capable of meeting the physical demands of the heavy duty equipment environment (ie: lifting up to 75 pounds)
  • Must be capable of working under minimal supervision
  • Previous mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn required
  • Forklift experience and heavy duty parts handling considered an asset
