Your Role: Building Materials Handler





Key Responsibilities:






As a Building Materials Handler, you will play a role in efficiently handling, transporting, and storing building materials and lumber.



Material Handling & Processing: Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials, ensuring accuracy and safety. Assemble and prepare orders, verify deliveries, and maintain proper material organization. Shipping & Receiving: Prepare shipments, handle deliveries, and maintain accurate shipping documentation. Safety & Equipment: Perform daily inspections on forklifts, adhere to safety protocols, and participate in safety meetings. Yard & Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the yard and warehouse organized and clean and assist in inventory management.

What You Bring:



Skills: Proficient in forklift operation, power tools, and measuring equipment. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and time management. Experience: Forklift Operator Certification is considered an asset. Knowledge of woodworking products and building materials is an asset. Physical Requirements: Must be able to work outdoors in varying temperatures, lift 50 lbs unaided, and work wearing personal protective equipment 100% of the time.
