AIM is currently looking for a Laborer for its Quebec City site, from Monday to Saturday starting at 8:00 a.m. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the incumbent receives the different types of metals, performs an initial classification, and directs them to the appropriate locations.
What you will be responsible for:
Welcoming customers courteously while following our procedures and requirements
Participating in the unloading of materials
Sorting the different metals according to their characteristics
Inspecting customers' metals
Identifying the correct type of metal for each product and validate its quality
Weighing metals on the scale
Performing data entry in the RECY software
Working with different types of machinery (Forklift)
Preparing receiving/shipping tickets
Ensuring cleanliness of the premises
Performing any other related tasks
Qualifications

You have one (1) to three (3) years of experience in a similar role
You have knowledge of metal recycling (major asset)
You have forklift experience (major asset) -- training provided on-site
You are bilingual (asset)
You demonstrate safe professional behavior
