Working in a team environment, the Operator is responsible for packaging quality envelopes into appropriately labeled boxes, assisting the Adjuster in the start-up of the machine, and maintaining a safe work area while maintaining optimal productivity. Expected to report for work on time.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Check the docket to ensure that the correct boxes, labels, and envelopes are being used for the order
Completes quality check list
Monitors gum quality
Assists the Adjuster with the start-up of the machine
Removes finished envelopes from the machine
Inspects the envelopes
Removes damaged and poor quality envelopes & replaces them
Applies proper labels on boxes of product
Packs and stamps boxes
Arranges finished product cartons on skids
Maintains a clean and safe working area (including sweeping, mopping & general housekeeping)
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
Capable of lifting 40 lbs.
Proficient in reading/writing English
Ability to read and understand written instructions
Ability to write legibly and use a ruler
Basic math skills (count & track number of envelopes produced)
Good hand/eye co-ordination.
Punctual & Dependable

Willingness to work with or help others as necessary.
Strong safety awareness and commitment to following safety protocols.
