Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Labourer \xe2\x80\x93 Gas Fitter Helper on a permanent basis at our Propane Branch in Carman, Manitoba offering $23.67 - $29.76 an hour.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

Under the supervision of a qualified Gas Fitter, you will:

• Assist in completing service work and installations on propane equipment.
• Assist in conducting inspections on our commercial licensed vehicles and ensure any defects found are flagged and/or repaired.
• Assist in ensuring that all necessary preventative maintenance is carried out on the service vehicles, crane units, and equipment.
• Operate crane trucks while following applicable standards during rigging, loading, securing and transporting of tanks and other equipment.
• Promote the sale and the use of Co-op Propane and deliver propane as required.

Who you are:

• You have a high school education or equivalent (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
• Holding a valid Class 3 (with air endorsement) license is an asset. If you do not possess a Class 3A license, we will help you obtain it.
• You are mechanically inclined.
• You are open to possibly obtaining a Gas Fitter ticket. FCL offers to pay your full wage while away at school and the cost of tuition in return for a service agreement.
• You are in good health and physically fit to preform all duties and responsibilities.
• You are able to successfully complete a pre-employment alcohol and substance test.
• You\xe2\x80\x99re honest and trustworthy, are results oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
• You believe in collaboration, building relationships and value the perspectives of others.
