Leighton Contracting is looking for laborers to join their civil construction team All Candidates should have the following experience / credentials: - Labor experience in civil works - Valid BC driver\'s license - Must be physically fit - Roller, water truck, bobcat & concrete finishing experience an asset - Flexible, willing to complete a number of tasks on job sites - Team player, works well with others - Current 1st aid ticket an asset, but not required - Current air ticket an asset, but not required - Willingness to travel to out of town jobs, on occasion, as required Wages are dependent on experience Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: From $30.00 per hour Benefits:

Schedule:
  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
Supplemental pay types:
  • Overtime pay
Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Powell River, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
  • construction: 1 year (preferred)
Work Location: One location
