Overview

A Newly Created Local Business to the Columbia Valley is seeking a team of dedicated and hardworking Laborers, Cleaners and Skilled Movers to join our team. This role involves performing manual tasks to support various Yard work, maintenance, Janitorial, and Residential Moving projects. The ideal candidate will be reliable, physically capable, and eager to contribute to a dynamic work environment. Prior experience is a plus but not required, as training will be provided. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills and grow within this Family Modeled, community Supporting and Engaged company.

Responsibilities

Assist with loading and unloading materials and supplies Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, snow plowing, Yard works and moving heavy objects Maintain a clean and safe work site by disposing of debris and ensuring proper storage of tools and materials Cleaning a variety of Residential buildings Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely under direct and indirect supervision Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries Assist in setting up work areas for various projects or tasks Residential Moving services

Experience

Prior experience in construction, Janitorial, manufacturing, or manual labor roles is preferred but not mandatory Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions Strong work ethic with attention to safety and detail Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Must be reliable, punctual, and eager to learn new skills Good observation and reporting skills required an asset Strongly consider the Applicant to possess Drivers license and Reliable vehicle, or the ability to Share Rides to and from Job sites across the valley, and sometimes out of Local areas. Strongly consider the Applicant to possess First Aid and CPR certification, or the willingness to obtain certification at earliest opportunity Strongly consider the Applicant to possess WHMIS certification, or the willingness to obtain certification at earliest opportunity

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
