Farm Labourer, Equipment Operator, Equipment Maintenance Available Immediately Osgoode Farms is hiring a self motivated, responsible, competent farm labourer who may also work as an equipment operator or on equipment maintenance depending on experience and capability. The employee will be deployed for various farm related jobs ranging including land clearing, storm cleanup, ditch cleaning, planting, harvesting, regular equipment maintenance, and parts pickup. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for successful completion of tasks assigned
• Training and assessment of the ability to safely operate one or more of the following equipment: farm tractors, tractor with Plow, pick up truck, skid steers, loader, chain saw, ATV, Forestry Burn Box (training provided)
• Heavy lifting may be a requirement and is a key part of the job
• Safe handling of gasoline, oils, diesel fuels, grease and other equipment related fluids etc.
• Shop and field work are both required
• Vehicle and equipment maintenance activities as assigned
• Willingness to work in all types of weather.
• 10-12 hours per day when in field, 8 hours per day in shop.
