Construction Site Labourer

to join our dynamic team. This is an

entry-level position

with strong potential for

development, training, and long-term growth

within our Construction department. With hands-on experience, mentorship, and a commitment to professional growth, this role provides a strong foundation for a long-term career in construction.

About the Role

:




As part of our site team, you will work on a variety of residential job sites across the city, and surrounding areas, supporting the build process from initial site prep to final touches. Candidates must be prepared to work outdoors in all seasons, as this role involves year-round, all-weather work--typical of the construction industry. Awareness and readiness for working in diverse weather conditions is essential to supporting daily site operations safely and effectively. As a Site Labourer, you'll play a key role in supporting our construction team by performing general labour duties to maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites. You'll gain hands-on experience and exposure to all phases of new home construction while learning from experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:



Clean and prepare construction sites, including setting up and dismantling scaffolding, removing debris and waste, digging trenches, and other general exterior site maintenance, as required. Perform thorough house cleaning duties, both interior and exterior, to keep homes clean and presentable throughout the build process. Use various hand and power tools (e.g., drills, skill saws) to complete small tasks as directed by the Site Supervisor. Assist with loading and unloading construction materials, organizing tools and supplies, and maintaining a clean and safe site environment. Perform general tasks such as snow removal, shoveling, and moving materials like asphalt, gravel, or dirt. Help coordinate and support external contractors (ie. street cleaning services) as required. Follow all health and safety regulations and report concerns or violations. Support the Construction team with other tasks and site needs as required.

What We're Looking For:



Dependable, hardworking individuals with a willingness to learn. Positive attitude and ability to take direction. Comfortable using Microsoft Office, capable of learning new technology with the ability to quickly adapt to new programs. Comfortable with physically demanding tasks (and outdoor work in all weather conditions). Basic experience with tools is an asset but not required. Strong communication and organizational skills, with an ability to respond to changing priorities.

Other:



Available for occasional weekend hours, especially during winter conditions as weather permits. A valid driver's license, in good standing, required for daily travel; and, Manual dexterity and the ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
