Labourer

Our labourers are responsible for banding skids of cladding, building skids and assisting in other areas of manufacturing. May also be required to assist the shipping department with picking/shipping orders, receiving and putting stock away. This is the perfect position for someone wanting to gain experience working in a manufacturing environment. Employees must be willing to work 8 hour day and afternoon shifts (some overtime may be required).

This role requires:

Familiarity with power tools (such as a chop saw and air nailer)

Must have good mathematical skills have experience with using various measuring instruments.

Forklift experience would be an asset

Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Knowledge of quality and safety standards.

Excellent problem solving, written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline driven environment; adapt to change and work under pressure.

Demonstrated positive attitude, initiative and the ability to work well with others.
