Specialized Labourer

As a key player in our operations, you'll perform a variety of routine tasks and general maintenance, ensuring the smooth operation of our Acheson site. If you're passionate about safety and teamwork, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

Actively participate in our safety programs and help us achieve our

Goal Zero Initiative

! Assist with the daily operation of the site under the guidance of the foreperson. Monitor and adjust overhead and portable conveyors during rail car unloading. Keep our site clean and safe! Conduct preventative maintenance on conveyors, including changing rollers and basic electrical controls. Help unload aggregate railcars and assist with equipment maintenance. Be ready for other tasks as needed!

Experience/Education:

Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation. Previous rail knowledge is a plus, but not required! Experience operating loaders or skid steers is preferred.

Working Conditions:

Overtime may be required. Possible travel for training. Participate in daily hazard assessments and weekly safety meetings. Work outdoors in all weather conditions. Collaborate effectively with teammates and contractors. Ability to work at heights up to 80 feet and lift up to 50 pounds. Compliance with PPE requirements and safety protocols. Successfully meet pre-employment safety evaluations, including drug and alcohol testing.
