Gerdau is currently seeking a

Labourer

for its Selkirk Recycling location.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

A variety of physical labour tasks and activites at various work stations throughout the worksite

Switchman for DE Railcrane Shear clean up and shredder beltman Rail track repair Operate wheel press Remove end caps from railcar wheel assemblies Brass shack: peddler piece sorting, battery pile and clean wire

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Will be able to work any assigned shift (days, afternoons, nights) Start in an entry level position and advance to higher level positions Salary: $23.22/hour

QUALIFICATIONS:

C

apable of performing a labour intensive job outside in the elementsAbility to work in a team environment Grade 12 diploma or GED is required Experience in operating heavy mobile equipment and machinery would be an asset Possess excellent communication skills, great work ethic and very good attendance
