labour and employment lawyer

Compensation and Benefits:
The salary for this position ranges from $145,000 to $205,000, depending with year of call and and relevant experience. Lawson Lundell LLP also offers a comprehensive benefits package, professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment designed to foster career growth.
Some of the
core responsibilities
of the role will include, but not be limited to:
Engage in diverse tasks across all aspects of labour and employment law
Work on human rights and privacy matters
Handle WorkSafeBC and employment standards cases
Address workplace-related issues including:
+ Employment agreements
+ Performance management
+ Terminations
+ Severance agreements
Required experience:
3+ years of experience within labour and employment law
Experience advising clients with respect to labour and employment matters
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Confidence in engaging and interacting with clients
Exceptional work ethic and commitment to client service
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and organization skills
