What you will need to understand:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Safely perform daily tasks in a general working environment Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as wrenches, impact guns, drills, pry bars, hammers and punches. Record work performed Report maintenance and safety issues to supervisor. Have an enthusiastic look at contributing to the overall success of the department Remain interested in growing within the company
Required Skills and Abilities:
Good skill in the use of hand and power tools. Positive work ethic Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and complete setup documentation. Fabrication skills such manual mill and manual lathe an asset Strong English communication skills
Working Conditions:
High heat and noise levels Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb steps Ability to work flexible hours based on production needs
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.
Must have CSA approved steel toed work boots.
