As a Laborer, you are responsible to help keep our shops and yard cleaned, stocked and organized.



Main Responsibilities

Shop House keeping Inspecting fire extinguishers puncturing aerosol cans garbage clean up Janitorial duties parts kitting (pulling parts and following paperwork) sweeping snow shoveling yard maintenance (weeding/garbage) some minor shop maintenance Inventory cycle counting forklift experience (not an asset) use of pallet jacks loading unloading trucks stocking inventory empty shop garbage and any other duty assigned

Attributes and Skills

Solid organizational capabilities and ability to complete tasks. Able to work autonomously and uses good decision-making practices. Good verbal communication skills. Intermediate computer literacy with Excel, ERP, Email & Calendar Management, and Document Production. Able to maintain a professional and calm demeanor in challenging situations. Good work ethic.

Qualifications

High School Diploma.

Physical Requirements

Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs - fitness test required Regular exposure to industrial shop hazards which require additional protection from noise, fall hazards and air quality Regular fast pace or work with tight deadlines A medium to high stress environment due to timelines

Shift Availability

Days - Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
