Job Description

- Manual tasks of all types in all operations (cleaning and steaming culvert ends, patching, pothole repairs, signage, guard rails, flagging, garbage and tree clean up, etc.).

- Installation of Road Crossing Culverts and Approaches (working around heavy equipment, operation of plate tamper. etc.).

- Operate a Lamont County vehicle and other light equipment, including small tractors, trailers, etc.

- Compliance with Lamont County's Health and Safety program.

- Accurate recording and submission of weekly timesheets.

- Other labour-related duties as assigned

Qualifications



- Experience in labour work and operating light equipment.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel) and computer literacy.

- High School Diploma or GED. o Holds a Class 5 Alberta Driver's license.

- Able to lift approximately 50 lbs, sit for prolonged periods, climb in and out of equipment.

- Able to work in all types of weather (rain, cold or hot) and dusty conditions.

- Willing to work 12-hour days, as overtime may be required from time-to-time. Occasionally weekend work may be required.

- Safety-conscious and attentive to the working environment they are in.

- Excellent communication and experience dealing with the public is required.

- Able to work independently and unsupervised
