  • Perform additional procedures for the majority of time; performs routine procedures in various sections of the laboratory as required, following established departmental procedures.
  • Collect specimens from inpatients and outpatients as required.
  • Perform maintenance on related equipment and reports equipment malfunctions to the Section Head.
  • Perform all clerical and written tasks associated with additional and routine procedures, and compile statistics as required.
  • Ensure that quality control standards are met and report problems to the Section Head as they occur.
  • Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
  • Assist with orientation of new staff.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
What you bringQualifications
  • Graduate of a recognized school of Medical Technology, plus a minimum of one years\' recent, related experience. Canadian Society of Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) Certified.
