Veterinary Laboratory Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented

Veterinary Laboratory Technician

to join our team. This role focuses on performing laboratory tests, analyzing samples, and ensuring accurate diagnostic results to support patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Laboratory Testing & Analysis

Perform blood, urine, fecal, and tissue sample analysis. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as hematology analyzers, microscopes, and centrifuges. Conduct cytology, microbiology, serology, and chemistry tests as required.

Record Keeping & Quality Control

Accurately document test results and maintain laboratory records. Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and biohazard disposal protocols. Calibrate and troubleshoot lab equipment as needed.

Support to Veterinary Team

Communicate findings effectively to the veterinary team. Maintain an organized and efficient laboratory environment.

Qualifications:

?Degree or certification in Veterinary Technology, Animal Health, or a related field.

?Experience in a veterinary lab or diagnostic setting preferred.

?Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software.

?Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

?Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures.
