We are seeking a
Laboratory Technician
on a12-months contract
for our Thompson, Manitoba location.In a supervised lab setting, you will:
Receive, log and sort environmental samples Perform qualitative and quantitative laboratory analyses Maintain accurate records (logbooks) and report/enter data Understand and comply with Testmark's Quality Management System Maintain work area and equipment in proper condition
Minimum Requirements
Strong organizational and time management skills Good record keeping skills and attention to detail Strong work ethic and positive team attitude Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Must be competent, dependable and able to absorb and apply training Basic computer literacy The ability to work independently and as part of a team Good troubleshooting skills required for instruments and methods Experience working in an ISO laboratory considered an asset
