We are currently recruiting a Laboratory Technician to be part of the R&D Team. The Laboratory Technician defines and executes test plans on product/components within the Engineering Laboratory, and will focus on these main activities:

  • Execute the tests according to the internal procedures and processes
  • Support the development and implementation of new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the test lab
  • Collaborate with the R&D as part of the development team;
  • Interact with notified bodies during the step of homologation;
  • Check the compliance of the products with the relevant regulations;
  • Define and update the test methodologies and tools on the base on lesson learned and rules changes
  • Make test reports;
  • Improve and maintain the lab facilities
  • Support Quality and Production departments with failure analyses and product introduction

The ideal candidate has knowledge in a technical field, and experience in a manufacturing environment. They will also have:
  • Engineering background
  • Ability to use measurement testing tools;
  • Expertise of the relative regulation (nice to have)
  • Product knowledge (nice to have)
  • Knowledge of Ms Office
  • Plumbing & electrical experience (nice to have)
  • Experience with lab software tools, i.e., LabVIEW (nice to have)
  • Preferred experience in Electronics or Electrical troubleshooting.
  • Scientific and curious mindset, good attitude, self-motivated, good problem-solving skills, common sense, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and work independently.
