Part-Time Student Position

We are currently looking for a student enrolled in a Biotechnology DEC program who wishes to apply their learning in a hands-on way by joining our laboratory team for approximately 7 to 15 hours per week (with the possibility of full-time work during school breaks).

Responsibilities:

Prepare and label materials used for embryo production. Participate in quality control procedures (pH and temperature measurements). Assist with cell structure fixation, staining, and slide mounting. Read slides using fluorescence microscopy. Support technicians in routine production operations as needed (e.g., oocyte retrieval and fertilization, semen preparation, embryo transfer and freezing, and culture media preparation). Sterilize lab equipment and maintain work surfaces. Prepare basic solutions according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Qualifications & Skills:

Student who has completed and passed the first year of a Biotechnology DEC program. Proficient in pipetting and aseptic techniques. Attention to detail. Organizational and observational skills. Teamwork and communication. Analytical and scientific mindset.
