Position Summary:
Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, verifies, washes, decontaminates and sterilizes various instruments and apparatus. Maintains equipment and ensures cleanliness of work area.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:Taking reagent, material, and equipment orders from students and postdocs in the lab.
Placing these orders.
Inventory of lab items and catalogs lab material/reagents/equipment.
Inventory tracking in Quartzy
Filing expense reports.
PCard reconciliation and record keeping.
Vendor reconciliation.
Expense tracking using the university financial statements.
Forecasting expenses
