In your role as a Laboratory Assistant I, you will contribute to the team by performing specimen receipt, preparation and handling of pathology specimens for testing, transportation, storage and disposal, reagent preparation and disposal. A focus on quality assurance, critical thinking, and problem-solving is essential. We are seeking a reliable and efficient candidate with strong interpersonal skills. Additional Duties include routine slide staining, slide sorting, block melting, slide/block filing, and send out as well as computer and clerical duties. Quality control and operating instruments and performing routine maintenance.
