Job Description
Join our dynamic team in Mansonville, Quebec! We are seeking a Laboratory Technician for a one-year maternity leave replacement with a strong possibility of permanency. Under the supervision of the Quality Control Director, you will perform chemical and physical analyses (HPLC, GC, XRF, DSC, etc.) to ensure compliance of raw materials and finished products.

Key Requirement: Bilingual (French/English) - 80% of our clients are in the United States, requiring daily communication (emails, calls, meetings) in English.
Main Responsibilities
1) Quality Control of Raw Materials and Finished Products
Perform chemical and physical tests using analytical instruments (HPLC, GC, particle size analysis, XRF, DSC, etc.)
Report any anomalies detected in results
Produce and issue certificates of analysis
Compile analysis results in computer files
2) Laboratory Maintenance and Management
Ensure calibration and maintenance of equipment
Comply with safety standards and internal procedures
Manage inventory and place material orders
3) Project Support
Collaborate with R&D, production, and logistics teams
Participate in continuous improvement of methods and processes
Qualifications
College diploma in laboratory techniques or B.Sc. in sciences, or relevant experience
Proficiency with MS Office suite
Skills:
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize
Autonomy and rigor in task execution
Attention to detail and adherence to procedures
Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
