Summary
We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team in the Frozen Food Manufacturing industry, located in Canada. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring product quality and safety, contributing significantly to our commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
Conduct environmental monitoring and ATP testing.
Assist with pre-operational inspections to ensure sanitation and food safety standards.
Accurately complete QA forms, CCP records, and other documentation.
Support HACCP program requirements and assist with routine lab audits
Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure a clean, organized workspace.
Provide flexibility by supporting other QA or production checks as needed.
Qualifications:
Diploma or degree in Microbiology, Food Science, Biology, or related field (preferred, but not required).
Basic knowledge of food microbiology and food safety practices.
HACCP, Food Safety, or related certifications are considered an asset.
Strong attention to detail with ability to follow procedures.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and support different QA activities.
Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
