Consultant Qualifications:

\xc2\xb7 Recent and relevant experience as a Lab Informaticist in Cerner Transfusion Medicine design and builds.

\xc2\xb7 Ambulatory experience is MANDATORY.

\xc2\xb7 Relevant Cerner Transfusion Medicine experience in Design and implementation within PathNet.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to engage with clinical staff and providers in a professional matter to elicit information and requirements to support:

o Workflow mapping

o Functional design and testing within PathNet

\xc2\xb7 Awareness of Transfusion Medicine workflows as well as having a basis in Transfusion Medicine and Transfusion Medicine related guidelines and standards (e.g. Choosing Wisely, PCBO, CBS, FACT, etc).

\xc2\xb7 Awareness of all aspects of the Transfusion Medicine service (e.g. patient assessment, ordering, dispensing, administration, reactions).

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work with and develop/complete DCWs as well as custom requirement gathering documentation in collaboration with relevant partners in informatics and build teams.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to create and execute functional, integrated and regression test scripts for lab workflows and PathNet tools.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work independently and be self motivated as well as work as part of a larger diffuse team.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to facilitate meetings and have excellent presentation skills to clinical audiences.

\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated problem-solving skills.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work in a fast paced environment, organizing workload and priorities.

\xc2\xb7 Proficient use of excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.

\xc2\xb7 Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to organize workload and priorities.

\xc2\xb7 Must work PST Time and be available full time hours.

\xc2\xb7 Experience working with CST Project in Vancouver, BC is a preferred asset, but not required.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to adapt to a highly dynamic environment and be flexible with evolving responsibilities.

Requirement Detail/Qualifications

Business Consultants at Experience Level 1 are Consultants that can demonstrate in their submitted examples that they have led multi-discipline teams in business transformation initiatives to align business systems with new business processes, using application portfolio management techniques, and have provided and followed a plan to transfer the business from the \xe2\x80\x98as is\xe2\x80\x99 structure to the \xe2\x80\x98to be\xe2\x80\x99 structure, where they reported to executive level managers, and had managers and senior technical and business staff assigned to the project under their direction.

Business Consultants at Experience Level 1 have the skill sets of Business Consultants at Experience Level 2 as well as experience and expertise in applying business transformation methodologies, including operations research and business process re-engineering. Because of the far-reaching effect of implementing business process re-engineering project recommendations, Business Consultants at Experience Level 1 are experienced in effectively communicating with executives and senior management on changes to business operations.
