Position Summary

The candidate involves meeting regularly with members of the biomedical engineering department, learning about medical equipment and reading manuals of operation, setting up data capture and management from test devices, meeting with project managers and project owners and collaborators to address concerns and needs, transporting and setting up hardware and software for the project, communicating problems and troubleshooting them, and ensuring the success of the collaboration in general.

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities

Assist in performing measurements. Documenting and cataloging results. Learn about medical equipment. Keep track of manuals and devices. Set up data capture and share the data.

Education:

1-2 years of lab or research experience. Student must enrolled in Work Study program at McGill.

Minimum Education and Experience: High School Diploma

Hourly Salary: (AMUSE B) $16.00

Estimated Number of Work Hours per Week: 20 (Part time)
