The Unified CPE Device Management team keeps millions of TELUS devices connected. We drive the strategy, operations, and evolution of platforms that remotely manage everything from Internet gateways to SetTop Boxes in homes across Canada--ensuring seamless connectivity and entertainment experiences at massive scale.





We're seeking an experienced L4 Technical Professional to join our team. In this pivotal role, you'll help shape TELUS' CPE device management strategy and drive the evolution of our infrastructure. You'll work at the intersection of telecommunications and cloud technology, designing and implementing scalable solutions that manage devices across our network.




What you'll do






Shape TELUS' CPE device management strategy by collaborating with senior technical leaders to influence architectural designs that support millions of customer devices Design innovative CPE management architectures, ensuring high reliability, optimal performance, and seamless scalability Build and optimize AWS/GCP solutions, enabling large-scale device management that reduces costs and improves system responsiveness Implement TR-069 and TR-369 protocols with vendors, ensuring efficient provisioning, monitoring, and management that enhances customer experience Deploy leading monitoring solutions, providing insights that maintain system health, minimize downtime, and accelerate incident resolution Partner with network engineering, product management, security, and operations teams to deliver integrated solutions aligned with business goals and customer needs Evaluate emerging technologies with the engineering community to pilot new approaches that enhance TELUS' CPE management capabilities

Qualifications

What you bring






5+ years of professional experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or GCP) Proven expertise in cloud infrastructure design and implementation Experience with monitoring and observability tools, ideally Dynatrace, Prometheus and Zabbix Programming experience with REST APIs, familiarity with Swagger and Postman Excellent problem-solving abilities and architectural thinking Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively



Great-to-haves






Familiarity with CPE management protocols, specifically TR-069 and TR-369 Experience with AWS IoT Managed Integrations Knowledge of network protocols and telecommunications standards


Salary Range: $95,000-$143,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15%
