Kumon Reading Teaching Assistant

Our centre in Country Hills NW is currently hiring:
- Reading (English) assistants who will support Gr 1 -12 English levels.
We are looking for individuals to work between 8-12 hours per week in an education environment.
Reading Teaching Assistants will support students up to high school level in their Reading/English worksheets. Candidates should have high attention to detail and have strong abilities in English spelling, grammar and comprehension skills. Experience with proofreading and editing is preferred.
We encourage assistants to guide students in their work to encourage them to become independent learners.
Requirements:
Attention to detail, with strong editing skills to identify spelling and grammatical errors
Must be focused, diligent, and enjoy working with children
Outgoing and service oriented personality.
Energetic & proactive (e.g.ability to work well under pressure & multitask).
Punctual, well organized, detailed oriented, and reliable.
Must be respectful and polite, show professionalism, punctuality, and a willingness to learn.
Previous tutoring experiences highly desirable.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
