Centre-Specific Requirements:
The Centre Manager will support the Lead Instructor in a variety of instructional and centre management tasks. The position will be for 18-20 hours a week at the specified time slot below.
Available to work 4 days (Tuesday-Thursday) 3:00 pm-8:00 pm and Saturday (10:00-2 pm)

Kumon Responsibilities
Individualizing strategies for student development based on student goals and communication with the Instructor
Ongoing assessment of student skills development
Work closely with the Instructor to develop and understand the lesson plan and goals for each student in order to properly administer instruction individually
Grading of student class work, homework, corrections and organizing of Student worksheets
Ensuring Student classwork is completed and corrected to 100%
Assessing oral reading ability with reading students and providing necessary feedback
Assist/guidance to students, as needed, adhering to Kumon Method standards and centre procedures
Provide the Instructor with written or verbal feedback, as needed, based on student observations and/or student performance on worksheets
Work with other grading assistants to create a balanced workload to ensure grading is completed before the end of class.
Administrative Support
:
Answer incoming inquiries
Communicate with students and parents during class time, addressing student and parental needs, professionally, quickly, and quietly
Prepare student files
Conduct Parent Orientation for new prospective parents
Develop own knowledge of the Kumon method and worksheets
Assist with marketing initiatives and retention events (ex: student awards, goal-setting parties
Responsible for posting Social Media Posts
Develop a Monthly Newsletter with creative content.
Keep notes of observations of how students are working
Maintain a neat and professional work area
Assist with cleaning and organizing the Center
Assist in hiring and managing staff, along with their ongoing performance
REQUIREMENTS
:
-Must have a degree in the Education field. A student with an undergrad degree doesn't qualify for the role.
