Birmingham International Collegiate of Canada (BICC), a private Ontario-inspected high school in Toronto, is seeking a
Korean Language Teacher
to teach high school students in Grades 9-12. This is a part-time position (10 hours/week) with the possibility of additional hours leading to full-time.
Note: This position is open only to candidates currently residing in Canada. Overseas applicants will not be considered.
Responsibilities
Teach Korean language courses in accordance with the Ontario Secondary School curriculum.
Prepare engaging lesson plans, assignments, and course materials.
Assess, evaluate, and provide feedback on student progress.
Prepare and administer tests, assignments, and exams.
Communicate student performance with parents, students, and school officials.
Support students through lectures, discussions, audio-visual presentations, and group activities.
Assign and correct homework.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
2-3 years of teaching experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience teaching international students.
Skills & Attributes
Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to adapt lessons for diverse learners.
Team player with a student-focused mindset.
