Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of meals by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all food is handled properly and safely. Support cooks and chefs in various kitchen tasks, including cooking, plating, and serving meals. Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and notify management when stock is low. Participate in regular cleaning schedules to maintain a hygienic work environment. Help with meal preparation for special events or catering services as required.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food service or food industry is preferred but not required. Knowledge of basic food handling and food safety practices is essential. Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while following instructions from chefs and supervisors. Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to cooking and kitchen operations. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay: $17.20-$19.20 per hour
