The job involves:
Washing dishes, glassware, silverware, and pots ensuring that all are sanitized as per proper sanitation procedures Deep cleaning all kitchen areas including floors, walls, shelves, hoods, broilers and ovens Collecting and removing waste from all kitchen and restaurant outlets and assisting with the transporting of items between locations Standing for long periods of time; lifting, pushing and pulling up to 60lbs Working as one team under stressful conditions during high volume business levels Working safely and in compliance with OH&S policies and legislation Thorough knowledge of all activities and promotions occurring at our casino properties Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation
The ideal candidate has:
Minimum 6-12 months experience in a high volume food outlet Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational, multitasking, problem solving and conflict resolution skills The ability to successfully pass a pre placement medical and physical assessment
