Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our restaurant. Responsible for assisting in food preparation, maintaining kitchen cleanliness & ensuring that all food safety standards are met.

Duties

Assist in the preparation of meals according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food handling and safety procedures are followed to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment. Support cooks and other kitchen staff in various tasks as needed, including chopping, mixing, and cooking ingredients. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas throughout the shift. Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of low stock levels. Participate in daily cleaning tasks, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during peak service times.

Requirements

Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Capability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting while maintaining quality standards. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed. A passion for cooking and meal preparation is highly desirable.
