Duties

Assist in meal preparation by following recipes and guidelines to ensure high-quality food production. Perform food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients. Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment. Help with the organization of kitchen supplies and inventory management. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Support cooks and chefs in executing menu items efficiently. Participate in cleaning duties to maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen area.

Requirements

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong communication skills to facilitate collaboration with team members. Willingness to learn new skills related to meal preparation and cooking techniques. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
