Responsibilities

Assist in meal preparation and cooking according to established recipes and standards. Ensure proper food handling and safety practices are followed at all times. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Support the team in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients. Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Follow all health regulations and company policies related to food safety.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food safety practices and guidelines is a plus. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a busy kitchen setting. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques in meal preparation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.85-$20.00 per hour
