Duties

Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and preparing ingredients as needed. Follow recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistency and quality of dishes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all customers. Help with cooking tasks as directed by the head chef or kitchen supervisor. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Assist in inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is required. Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards helping others. Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and cooking techniques. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
