The Kitchen Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations, food preparation, team leadership, inventory, and quality control. You will work closely with the General Manager to ensure that Captain's Boil standards are met on every shift
Responsibilities
Supervise and support all kitchen staff during service
Ensure all food is prepared to Captain's Boil brand standards
Maintain high levels of food quality, consistency, and presentation
Monitor cooking times, portion control, and waste reduction
Enforce food safety, sanitation, and AHS health regulations
Train new kitchen team members and coach existing staff
Manage prep schedules, line organization, and station coverage
Assist with inventory control, receiving, and stock rotation
Communicate effectively with front-of-house leadership
What We're Looking For
2+ years of experience in a high-volume kitchen or restaurant environment
Previous supervisory or lead cook experience preferred
Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team
Calm and organized under pressure
Excellent time management and multitasking skills
Passion for food quality and teamwork
Seafood experience is an asset, but we will provide full Captain's Boil trainin
