Kitchen Supervisor reports to the store manager.
Primary Duties
Setting up kitchen area, equipment and all stations in preparation for shift
Daily baking of cookies, and other baked goods
Finishing items using care to ensure a beautiful product delivered in a timely manner
Production of sauces/dressings for store use when required
Leading building menu items to order according to Company recipes and standards
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all times
Adhering to Food Safe and Work Safe policies and requirements
Clean up and pack down of kitchen area, equipment and all stations at end of shift
Involvement and contribution to menu planning, recipe development and product sourcing, as required
Fulfilment of daily prep pars, adjusting when needed
Update daily par counts, and using that information to bake, pull, finish, and order products
Monitor, order, and receive stock
Restocking and maintaining inventory levels
Make sure process are printed, displayed and completed each week (Temperature logs, weekly cleaning task sheets, finished production sheets, waste sheets, prep charts, order guide, etc.)
Monitor completed cookies and other bakery items to ensure quality (size, colour, taste, consistency)
Adhering to company policy as stated in the Employee Handbook, at all times
Other duties assigned by the Wilder Food & Beverage Manager, or Senior Management team
Work unsupervised and manage time appropriately
Ability to lift up to 50lb
Other Duties
Assisting other locations when necessary
Assisting with catering or other events outside of normal work hours
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum 2-years previous cooking experience
Baking experience is a benefit
Capable of working independently
Food Safe Level I
All applicants must be legally able to work in Canada
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.60-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
