Job Summary:
The Bench is a casual, family-friendly bar conveniently located on the second floor of Cardel Rec South between Arenas 3 & 4.

Our menu offers elevated concession fare, with a tasty selection of local craft beers, and a special menu designed just for kids.

We are seeking a positive, dependable experienced Cook interested in supporting our Kitchen Manager in the role of Kitchen Supervisor (evenings). This is a working line cook position. The right candidate will be willing to to help guide line cooks through potentially busy service, while working along side them.

Responsibilities:

Station operation, serving and preparing menu items in accordance to specifications Compliance with all safety regulations of assigned tasks, and ensure a clean and safe working environment Run various pieces of kitchen equipment Be knowledgeable about menu items, menus changes and food preparation procedures to ensure a amazing guest experience Be knowledgeable regarding allergy policies and procedures to ensure that guests are not at risk of allergic reactions Ensure safe food handling procedures are followed 100% of the time Consistently conduct yourself in a professional and positive manner Adhere to all policies and guidelines, checklists, prep sheets, and par sheets, as assigned and delegate tasks as required Other duties as assigned

Requirements

:

Previous back of house experience mandatory At least 2 years of experience cooking in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds, withstand high temperature conditions, bend, kneel, and stoop Ability to communicate in a professional manner with team members Ability to pass a criminal records check with vulnerable sector If you're looking for a place to meet your potential, we'd like to meet you.
