Duties

Assist in the preparation of meals and ingredients, ensuring all food is prepared to the highest quality standards. Help cook various menu items according to recipes and guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces. Follow food safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team. Participate in inventory management by assisting with stock rotation and reporting any shortages or discrepancies. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Engage positively with team members and contribute to a supportive work atmosphere.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. A passion for cooking and meal preparation, with a willingness to learn new skills. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
