We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cooks and Servers to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a keen understanding of food safety practices.
As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in accordance with our restaurant's standards, ensuring that every dish is not only delicious but also presented beautifully. Your role will be pivotal in creating an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
Assist in meal preparation and plating to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and communication.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
Help train new kitchen staff on food handling procedures and cooking techniques.
Help in making prep during down time.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the food service or restaurant industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices for kitchen hygiene.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
