Duties

Prepare and cook various menu items according to established recipes and standards. Serve food and beverages to customers, ensuring timely and friendly service. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist in meal preparation by chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and setting up cooking stations. Handle food items with care, following proper food handling procedures to maintain quality and safety. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management. Participate in training sessions on food safety, cooking techniques, and customer service best practices.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods is essential. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is required. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
