We're Hiring: Kitchen Lead for an Established Event Venue



Are you an experienced culinary professional ready to take the lead in a dynamic kitchen environment? Our established event venue, known for hosting Weddings, Corporate Functions, live music, wine tastings, burlesque shows, and more, is seeking a Lead Kitchen Professional to bring their experience and creativity to our team.

About the Role



As the Kitchen Lead, you'll be at the heart of our culinary operations, managing all aspects of the kitchen and delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong organizational and leadership skills, who thrives in a growing and creative environment.

Responsibilities



Menu Planning & Creation: Design innovative menus tailored to diverse events. Food Costing: Manage budgets effectively to ensure profitability without compromising quality. Mentorship: Lead, train, and inspire a talented kitchen team. Organization: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and safety in the kitchen. Collaboration: Work closely with the culinary, events and management teams to align menus with themes and guest expectations. Quality Control: Oversee the preparation and presentation of dishes to ensure consistency and excellence.

Requirements



Proven experience as a,
Senior Sous Chef, Kitchen Lead, or similar role.

Strong knowledge of food costing and inventory management. A passion for mentoring and team development. Creative flair for menu planning and a commitment to culinary excellence. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills. Flexibility to adapt to diverse events and themes.
