Duties

Assist in the preparation of ingredients and meals according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper food handling and storage. Support cooks in various tasks, including chopping, mixing, and cooking food items. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards at all times. Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels. Participate in team meetings to discuss menu changes, kitchen operations, and improvements.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented atmosphere. Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn new cooking techniques. A passion for cooking and providing excellent service to guests.
