Responsibilities
Assist with meal preparation and food assembly according to established recipes and standards
Handle food safely and maintain proper hygiene practices during all stages of food handling
Support kitchen staff with cooking, plating, and presentation of dishes
Ensure all food is stored correctly and inventory is managed efficiently
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, workstations, and storage areas
Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all team members
Assist with serving customers when needed, providing friendly and efficient service
Support the team during busy periods by multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
Skills in cooking, meal preparation, and food handling are highly desirable
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures is beneficial
Experience working in the food industry demonstrates familiarity with fast-paced environments and teamwork dynamics
