Responsibilities



Assist in food preparation by chopping, mixing, assembling ingredients, and following recipes accurately. Support cooking processes under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers to ensure timely service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, utensils, and cookware (bussing). Follow strict food safety and handling procedures to uphold hygiene standards and prevent contamination. Help with food plating and presentation to ensure visually appealing dishes for guests. Support banquet or special event setups by preparing ingredients and assisting with large-scale food service. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks smoothly and ensure excellent customer service.

Requirements



Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hotel kitchens is highly desirable. Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and basic culinary skills. Familiarity with food safety standards and proper handling procedures. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors. Experience with food handling during events or large gatherings is a plus. Pay: From $17.60 per hour
